It was formed in 1856 by Robert Smith, Cadwallader C.Washburn, John Crosby, and James Ford Bell and headquartered in Golden Valley, Minnesota, U.S. As of now, the company provides services to many legendary brands such as Betty Crocker, Totino?s, Nature Valley, etc. Its products include breakfast cereals, soup, pizza, soy, ice cream, snack foods, yogurt, etc. This company finally got its name in 1928 after the merging of Washburn-Crobsy with different mill companies. Soon after that, General Mills acquired Wichita Mill and Elevator Company.
