Alphabet Inc. falls under the conglomerate industry and is the world?s second-largest company by revenue. This American multinational technology company is a successor of Google Inc and was founded in 1998 on September 4 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Alphabet Inc is headquartered in Googleplex, Mountain View, California, U.S. The company was founded as a restructured Google company in 2015. Soon, Alphabet became one of the big American tech companies, along with Meta, Microsoft, Apple, and Amazon. Basically, Alphabet was formed to move subsidiaries from Google to a different company to lessen Google?s work space. This newly formed company was named Alphabet. Now, Google?s successor includes Google along with other businesses like Fiber, Verily, X Development, Nest, etc. Very recently, in 2019, the founders of Alphabet resigned from their posts, and Sundar Pichai was announced as the CEO of Google.
