It was formed by the amalgamation of the Bank of New York and Mellon Financial Corporation. This bank is one of the top three oldest banks in the United States. The bank also ranked 130th on the Fortune 500 list by revenue. BNY offers several financial services, such as pension planning, government finance, and asset management, and handles clients from different industries. Its main services include corporate banking, global wealth management, financial analysis, and securities services. It has two main subsidiaries, BNY Investment and BNY Pershing.
