Danaher Corporation is a publicly traded conglomerate founded in 1969 and based in Washington, D.C, United States. The company was formed by Steven and Mitchell Rales. Danaher deals with designing and manufacturing commercial services and products. The company was first formed as DMG in 1969 when Massachusetts and real estate investment trust was organized, and then it was reformed as Florida Corporation and renamed Diversified Mortgage Investors. Finally, in 1984, the company was recognized as Danaher. In 2004, Danaher acquired the trojan Technologies, and after one year, it announced to acquire Leica Microsystems. And soon after that, in 2007, Danaher acquired Tektronix making its largest acquisitions.
