It makes tires for passenger vehicles, motorcycles, military vehicles, and many automobiles and machines. The company also provided Goodyear a license to manufacture bicycles after a long break. Soon, Goodyear became one of the leading manufacturers among similar companies in the United States. Goodyear was named after Charles Goodyear, who invented vulcanized rubber. The company's tires became famous for their easy-to-remove properties and low maintenance. Initially, it manufactured carriage tires, rubber horseshoe pads, & poker chips and expanded its work over the years.
