United Parcel Service (UPS) is a multinational company that provides shipping, receiving, and supply chain management services worldwide. Established on 28 August in 1907 by James E. Casey and located in Sandy Springs, Georgia, United States. It was formerly named the American Messenger Company, which focuses on telegraphs and is the largest shipping courier company all around the world. UPS is famous for its shipping services, and the UPS store, which is a chain of retail stores. Also, the company acquired its first delivery vehicle, a Ford Model T, in 1913. In 1916, more vehicles were introduced to grow the business by Charlie Soderstom. In 1919, UPS decided to expand itself outside of Seattle to Oakland, California. They changed the company?s name to United Parcel Service.
