VF Corporation is a U.S.-based apparel and accessories company, formed in 1899 by John Barbery and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, U.S. This company provides global apparel, accessories, and footwear. John Barbey, along with other investors, developed the Reading Glove and Mitten Manufacturing Company in Pennsylvania in 1899. The company expanded its services to silk lingerie and was then incorporated as Schuylkill Silk Manufacturing and renamed itself Vanity Fair. Then, this company acquired the H.D. Lee Company, and Vanity Fair was renamed VF Corporation. The newly formed company shifted its headquarters to Greensboro, North Carolina. In 1990, VF Corporation acquired the Bulkware Apparel brand.
